We believe that learning to eat healthy food is an essential foundation for lifelong health. With this in mind, we provide a healthy and tasty, (Heart Foundation approved) morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, all served with water. Children staying for a full day also receive a late snack around 4.45 pm.
On Tuesdays we have an optional lunch box day for children preparing for school. Normal meals are still served.
Our rotating 4-week menu is updated seasonally and the children sample and approve new items before they make it onto our regular menu. Our menu is published online and in-centre each week so you can see what your child is being served. Your child’s consumption is also recorded at each meal.
We cater for special dietary requirements – please just let us know what your child’s requirements are when enrolling and we will work with you to ensure they are catered for safely.
Our menu is supplemented with fresh fruit and vegetables grown in our own gardens.
We have a Silver/Whānau Healthy Heart Award from the Heart Foundation.
